Luisa Corrales

Registered Psychotherapist

I was born in Colombia and moved to Canada at the age of nine. As a first-generation immigrant, my lived experience of navigating between two cultures has deeply shaped who I am, both personally and professionally. This perspective allows me to approach my work with cultural sensitivity, curiosity, and an appreciation for the complexities of identity and belonging.

My approach is one that is rooted in building a strong therapeutic alliance and that seeks to meet the unique emotional needs of each client. I strive to ensure that every individual that I work with feels heard, supported, and validated. By providing a warm and non-judgmental space, my hope is that together we can explore a variety of emotions, thoughts and life circumstances that often leave you feeling overwhelmed and possibly unfulfilled.

Attention to the connection between the body and the mind will also be highlighted during our sessions. Our work together will equip you with greater awareness of the interconnectedness of your physiological responses, thoughts, and emotions.

I look forward to the opportunity of meeting with you and working alongside you as you navigate through your healing journey. Reaching out for support can be a great tool that can leave you feeling empowered, motivated, and remind you that you do not have to navigate life alone.
